About Us

We are an established tennis coaching company bringing fun, games and valuable hand-eye coordination skills to children of ages 2+ across south London. At Little Rackets we believe that tennis is a great way of improving children's gross and receptive motor skills, so we have designed our classes to do just that, in the form of fun and engaging games. We teach our Little Rackets racket and ball skills in a sociable and interactive environment,  with the aim of improving confidence, while also supporting each child in achieving their individual Little Racket goals. We aim to make smiles, encourage an active lifestyle and share our love for the sport.

Harry is the Director and Founder of Little Rackets as well as our Head Coach.

He is a Level 3 Accredited LTA tennis coach with over 10 years experience of coaching both children and adults. Harry was educated at Dulwich College and Millfield, where he played tennis competitively.

He is a passionate tennis player himself and believes introducing the sport at an early age encourages better coordination and social skills. And so with that and the desire to share his passion, Little Rackets was born.

Harry Phillips - Director & Head Coach

Hi 👋🏻 I’m Maddi, I’m currently on my placement year here at Little Rackets but study Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University.

I was a competitive gymnast up until the age of 14, and have since coached at various clubs around the country as a Level 1 Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach.

I sing, play the piano and love making music! I also go to the gym, and I’m finding London is a great place for some scenic runs. Tennis is a new venture for me, but working with all the children at Little Rackets is already so amazing🌟

I am Lauren and I am currently completing my placement year at Little Rackets as a sports coach, however I am at Loughborough University studying Sport and Exercise Science.

I live near Manchester, however I was born in South Africa. I grew up doing dance and competitive gymnastics, as well as coaching gymnastics for many years.

This tennis placement will mark a new sporting adventure for me, and I'm excited to work with all of the children and develop them into great tennis players!
